Meet the Founders

Suzy Herbert
Co-founder

Susan Herbert, LMFT is certified in Gestalt Experiential Therapy. Her experiences have taught her to embrace the challenges life provides and to seize opportunities for personal growth. For over 20 years, she has dedicated her life to working with some of the most disenfranchised populations. In addition to Gestalt, she is trained in Mindfulness, Choice Theory, Trauma Informed Care, Family Systems, CBT, DBT and Emotionally Focused (EFT) modalities. She uses a multi-faceted approach in order to adapt to the individual needs of her clients. She is familiar with 12-Step and non-traditional approaches to recovery from addiction, and often incorporates Emotional Sobriety tools in her work. Susan’s practice is focused on working with couples, complex, prolonged, and religious trauma, codependency and addiction. She also works with individuals who are struggling to find meaning and purpose in their life, both younger and older. a specialization in Gestalt Experiential Therapy, Suzy brings a deep understanding of the transformative power of holistic healing.

Kimberly Morgan
Co-founder

Kimberly Morgan, (she/her) MA, LMFT is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in working with anxiety, depression, couples, adolescents and parents, families, groups and athletes. She completed her MA in clinical psychology with a specialty in Applied Community Psychology at Antioch University, Los Angeles. Kimberly has worked in community mental health care, intensive outpatient programs, private practice and telehealth settings. She specializes in healing from loss and grief, and using strengths to process and heal from trauma. Therapeutic approaches include person centered therapy, motivational interviewing, family systems, and evidence based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT). Kimberly is an athlete who competes in swimming and triathlons and helps anxious athletes to cope with negative thinking and improve performance.
